Horror Movie of the Day: The Cabin in the Woods (2012)

There Is Going To Be A "Cloverfield" Universe

The movie "Cloverfield" came out in 2008 and it was an enjoyable, found-footage film, with a big monster and maybe the apocalypse. I liked it.
Then 8 years later they had a movie on it's way out called "Valencia" until BOOM, they changed it to "10 Cloverfield Lane" only a few months before it was released. I liked this one even better. More of a thriller/drama with some hints of horror in there. John Goodman was/is awesome. This was a loosely connected sequel (no-spoilers here).
And now the 2017 sci-fi movie "God Particle" is apparently going to be in the Cloverfield Universe via The Wrap. I say, Yes to this. I loved shared universes. More movies should share universes. 2 of my favorite theories right now...

The Walking Dead shares a universe with Breaking Bad. (Merle did have blue meth)

Who Framed Roger Rabbitt shares a universe with Space Jam. (Cause why not?).

Bravo's 100 Scariest Movie Moments (2004)

75-31 has apparently been taken down due to Copyright issues. But there is still plenty of stuff left.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer

Nintendo Switch - March 2017

Logan Trailer

I am excited for this one, looks great. But please don't tell me it's "Old Man Logan." They don't have the rights to any of the characters in that comic, except for Wolverine. Perhaps it's inspired, we shall see.

Logan - March 3rd

The Wolverine 3 will be called "Logan". Here is the first movie poster. I'd expect to see a teaser in the near future as the release date is set for March 3, 2017. This is also, reportedly the last Hugh Jackman-Wolverine movie. Looking forward to it.

Horror Movie of the Day: The Devil's Rejects (2005)

Rob Zombie's sequel to House of 1,000 Corpses is one of the best horror movies of the past 20 years. The Firefly Family is back and it's far more gritty and real. The soundtrack is also sweet, and if you liked 70s/80s horror you'll enjoy this.
